Don't worry Marvel fans, Thor has plenty of after-credits goodness for you to dissect but there might be one we'll never see.

While on the global press tour for Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok, director Taikia Waititi and actor Jeff Goldblum were asked about post-credit scene in particular, and it's one that fans are going to wonder about until Marvel ever releases it.

Spoilers ahead, so if you wish to go into Marvel's next epic unspoiled, maybe you'll enjoy one of these other Thor: Ragnarok stories instead. Otherwise, you've been warned.

The second post credit scene in Thor: Ragnarok features none other than Jeff Goldblum's Grandmaster. He is seen on a trash pile on Sakaar surrounded by his 'people.' Except not all is well and good since because of some moments that happen in the film, they're less than happy with their leader. We won't go into too much more detail as not to fully spoil the moment, but apparently while filming - there was much more to be had.

"There's a Goldblum easter egg!" the actor revealed to DigitalSpy. "My character Grandmaster surprisingly reappears at the end to say something. It's one of my improvised moments! I can't remember what I say, I want to see it again! Because we said 20 things on the day."

Improv plays a major role in Thor: Ragnarok. So much so that when we visited the set last year, Chris Hemworth spoke at length about how he participated in "more improv than ever." Even Stan Lee's cameo was almost entirely made up on the fly.

When asked about the Goldblum scene, director Waititi elaborated, adding: "We even did the Sakaarian national anthem which we made up on the spot, which will hopefully be on the DVD at some point.

"The great thing about Jeff is he's so receptive to new things. Most of the stuff involving him in the film was stuff we found on the day on set, because he's a genius at improvising and he's willing to try anything."

So there you have it folks. It sounds like the post-credit scene in Thor: Ragnarok will give you one last taste of Waititi's brand of Marvel movie magic before the final credits roll. Will we ever see the lost improv scenes? We'll just have to wait and see.

Thor: Ragnarok opens in the US November 1st, 2017.
