The team at Blizzard surprised us all when the Iron Banner debuted with a unique Overwatch Easter egg that you have to see to believe. This morning, Destiny 2 players have discovered and shared yet another Easter egg, and if you can believe it, this one is straight out of the Pokémon universe!

This new Easter egg can be found on Distant Shore, one of the newer maps introduced for the Iron Banner. Tucked away among some rubble and the corner of a Vex construct is a strange orb. Sprinting by, you might assume that this is the discarded shell of a giant Servitor, but at second glance, we can see that this is actually a very intentionally designed Poké Ball!

After taking a long, hard look, there really is no mistaking it. Servitors are always uniform and metallic from top to bottom, we never see a hard division of color like this, or colors at all.

Other than the bright purple of the Servitor's eye, you never see bright colors like this. Someone on the team at Bungie is a closet Pokémon nerd, but then, aren't we all?

This has everyone on a mad hunt for more Easter eggs. If you missed the Overwatch Easter egg, it really is worth going back to watch. In the story, you'll see a video of a skilled Guardian completing the "We Ran Out of Medals" challenge, which set Lord Saladin off on a bit of rant. Actually, that's an understatement. For a few seconds, Lord Saladin is completely possessed by the spirit of Overwatch's Reaper, and since they're played by the same voice actor, for a moment you'll swear that Reaper has invaded the Iron Banner.

Give it a watch and let us know what you think!
