'Gotham' Releases Promo for 'Let Them Eat Pie'

If you thought tonight's episode of Gotham needed a little more Professor Pyg, or a lot more Bruce Wayne, you weren't alone. Apparently the show's writers felt the same way, and they're making up for it next week.

Fox released the promo for next week's episode, titled "A Dark Knight: Let Them Eat Pie," and it looks to feature both characters.

The first half of the promo highlights Bruce and his currently difficult relationship with Alfred. The two are on a camping trip, and Alfred is trying to remind Bruce who he is following the young man's run-in with Ra's al Ghul. He's still acting fairly volatile, but Batman fans know that if there is one person who can calm Bruce down, it's Alfred.

Meanwhile, Professor Pyg has set a trap for some of the more prominent members of Gotham's underground. Sofia and Penguin have a dinner being personally prepared by the villain, and Martin is acting as the chef's creepy assistant.

At the end of the promo, Jim tries his best to stop Pyg, now that he's taken on the role of Police Captain. Unfortunately, it will be easier said than done.

"Let Them Eat Pie" will air on Thursday, November 16 at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
