Justice League is now landing in theaters, but there is one person close to the project that hasn't seen it yet.

That would be the film's primary director Zack Snyder. Snyder revealed he hadn't seen it yet to a fan on Vero. "I will be honest I have not seen the film since I stepped away," Snyder said. "You know I love these characters I wish only I could only have finished it for you and the others who love MOS BvS."

Snyder stepped off the project earlier this year after a personal tragedy in the family and had Avengers director Joss Whedon step in to finish the film. A great deal of the movie was already completed, but depending on which reports you believe that job might have increased with reshoots.

Snyder did eventually return to social media though, where he's been sharing behind the scenes photos from the Justice League production.

Recently Batman actor Ben Affleck spoke about the director switch, indicating that Snyder was the one who asked for Whedon.

"Zack sought out Joss," Affleck said, "And wanted him to be the guy to finish the movie when he wasn't able to. They definitely worked together to do something kind of special."

Producer Charles Roven explained that Snyder knew additional photography was needed, and that's why he picked Whedon.

"Zack decided that he wanted to do some additional photography … He thought that Joss' sensibility might be exactly right for what he was looking to do," Roven said. "So he showed Joss the film, and he talked about a number of scenes that we would be adding or expanding upon, and Joss wrote those scenes."

Snyder's work on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was divisive, to say the least, but early reviews of Justice League are equally divisive.

Fans can judge it for themselves now, as Justice League is currently in theaters.
