'Gotham' Season 4 Episode 10: Things That Go Boom Trailer Released

Fox has released a preview of next week's episode of Gotham, titled "A Dark Knight: Things That Go Boom."

The preview shows that Gotham's crime scene is as combustible as ever, as the Penguin prepares for war and Professor Pyg continues his quest.

In "A Dark Knight: Things That Go Boom," Gordon tries to broker a deal with Penguin that involves Sofia. Meanwhile, Alfred tries to pull Bruce out of his teenage-angst and downward spiral, as Lee Thompkins gains more control over the Narrows.

As actor Michael Cerveris has explained previously, his version of Professor Pyg on Gotham is something different than the one from the DC Comics universe.

"Yah, I don't want to give away completely," Cerveris said. "You know how much he's liked the Pyg in the comics, but I would say that his focus in Gotham is more on things to do with Gotham and with the city and with Jim Gordan. He's certainly is the manipulative character, and certainly, you know, is trying to get people to do stuff whether they know why they're doing it or not. But, that's sort of exclusive. His whole reason for existing is not the Dollotrons.

"You do have characters in Gotham where the way we know them in the comic book is much later in their lives. You know, when Bruce has become Batman and stuff [like that]. It's possible that the Dollotrons are a later part of his life. You know, it's not mutually exclusive if we don't get to the Dollotron. You know, that doesn't mean that they just decided to get rid of it."
