One of the Pokemon franchise's hardest working characters finally gets a break in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

The newest Pokemon games are out now, and players are starting to discover the little intricacies that set them apart from last year's Pokemon Sun and Moon games. While both games have a similar plot and feature the same characters, Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon has a ton of little details and side stories that make the game a much richer experience than their predecessors.

For example, players have a rare opportunity to see Nurse Joy abandon her post, put her feet up, and vent for a few minutes about her job. If players talk to the barista at the Malie Center Pokemon Center, it will occasionally trigger a cut scene in which Nurse Joy decides to join you for a few moments. As she sits down, Joy closes her eyes and sighs with contentedness before telling the player about how draining it can be to constantly heal Pokemon.

The barista then reminds Joy that she can accomplish a lot more by properly resting than she can by working all the time. In exchange for listening to her problems, Joy then gives the player some PokeBeans as a reward.

Watching Nurse Joy step out from her traditional place behind the counter at the Pokemon Center isn't totally unheard of in Pokemon games, but it's a rarity to see her talk about her feelings about her stressful job. After all, she's been in charge of healing Pokemon after trainers put them through grueling battles for over 20 years and she doesn't even charge for her services.

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon is out in stores now, and it's an absolute joy to play just for the hundreds of details just like this.
