South Korean Posters For 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' Tease Rey and Kylo Ren Joining Forces

As the promotional onslaught continues for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, new posters from South Korea showcase the main players and their mysterious connections in the new film.

The posters feature Rey, Kylo Ren, Luke Skywalker, Finn, Poe Dameron, and General Leia Organa, with taglines for each character that teases their role in the new movie. It also has a plot description that adds more intrigue to Kylo Ren and Rey's possible relationship.

A Facebook fan page for Mark Hamill translated the text to English, with these character descriptions being used for the individual posters:

Rey: The heroine who's found her hidden power.

Kylo Ren: The authority of the First Order who longs for absolute evil.

Luke Skywalker: The only surviving Jedi.

Finn: The soldier who escapes the First Order(it says the Empire but I think it's a mistake) and joins the Resistance.

Poe: The ace pilot of the Resistance.

Leia: The head of the Resistance and Kylo Ren's mother.

But the text on the bottom is where the meat lives, hinting at how the connection between Rey and Kylo Ren will have some new wrinkles.

The collision of Good and Evil, Light and Darkness.

New Destiny VS Destiny of the Past.

It is the age of the 'First Order', the ruthless force of evil that has taken over the galaxy. The Resistance leaded by General Leia sends 'Rey' to 'Luke', hero of the past, in order to find the last hope that'll light the spark of victory.

Through Luke, Rey finds a special power sleeping within her and unexpectedly communes with 'Kylo Ren', authority of the First Order…

Fans have been wondering if Rey or Luke Skywalker will flirt with the dark side, and while that seems like the obvious direction of the film, what if it's slightly more complex than that? And what if Kylo Ren takes a turn toward the side of heroes?

The conflict between the First Order and the Resistance is pretty clear cut. But what if the dark and light sides of the force are more nuanced, allowing for an even handed approach to the two?

We'll find out when Star Wars: The Last Jedi premieres in theaters on December 15.
