Cooler and his later Meta-Cooler form was one Dragon Ball Z villains fans often look back on fondly. Because of his status, Bandai Namco has announced a Meta-Cooler collectible fans would want to clear a ton of shelf space for.
Premium Bandai announced a new Meta-Cooler collectible that's stunning in its own right...but there's an option to buy a 100 figure bundle. The collection of Meta-Cooler figures runs for 378,000 yen, and buying this will net an additional 101st figure for free. You can also buy the Metal Cooler figures separately, if you just want to stop at one, for 3,780 yen each (about $33 USD).

The figures are currently available for pre-order until December 17th, with a March 2018 shipping window. The project planner for this Meta-Cooler insanity is quoted in the advertisement as saying "Even 100 years from now, I bet there won't be a better Meta-Cooler figure than this one," and it is hard to argue looking at the sheer volume of figures someone can buy in one purchase.

The collectible figure itself is impressive with fine paint, and the shine is a great attention to detail as Meta-Cooler was incredibly shiny in the film. For those unfamiliar with Meta-Cooler, he first appeared in the Dragon Ball Z film, Cooler's Revenge. When first defeated by Goku, his remains had been floating in space until he's absorbed by the Big Gete Star. This giant machine revives Cooler, and his consciousness eventually takes control. Using this new power, Meta-Cooler attempts to absorb a newly reformed Namek. Goku and co. eventually go to confront the new Cooler.
The main crux of the film is that Cooler is allowed to create endless copies of himself thanks to the power of the Big Gete Star, and that's followed him to collectible form.
Dragon Ball Super's "Universal Survival" arc is part of the recent simulcast agreement that sites like Crunchyroll and Funimation have scored. Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturday evenings at 7:15 p.m. CST. Adult Swim airs the English dub during its Toonami block Saturday evenings at 9:30 p.m, and it will soon be available to stream on FunimationNOW.
