Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 writer-director James Gunn likes to keep it in the family.

His brother, Sean Gunn, plays Ravager Kraglin (and provides the on-set motion capture for CGI-creation Rocket Raccoon). His dog, Wesley Von Spears, has both Guardians movies on his resume. And his niece, Grace, played a pink-skinned alien encountered by Star-Lord's cosmic father, Ego (Kurt Russell), in Vol. 2.

Gunn posted a sweet Facebook post Saturday, sharing a hand-written description of Grace's time on set with an accompanying drawing.

"My sister-in-law Michelle was going through [Grace's] schoolwork when she came across this in her homework, describing her day on set," Gunn wrote.

"I think that's me in the left corner. I don't remember having an elf as the camera operator that day, but it's possible. Here's the translation: 'Then it was finally time for my part. I was a pink alien. My uncle is the director of the movie. He is very funny. I have five uncles and he is the funniest.'"

Gunn finished with a rib at his sibling. "Take that, Sean Gunn," the filmmaker wrote, tagging his brother's Facebook page.

Gunn included a photo of Grace with stars Michael Rooker (Yondu), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Drax (Dave Bautista), Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Pom Klementieff (Mantis) and Zoe Saldana (Gamora).

The Guardians of the Galaxy will next appear in Avengers: Infinity War before teaming once again in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, to be scripted and directed by Gunn. Infinity War opens May 4 and Vol. 3 is rumored to release sometime in 2020.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is now available on 4K and Blu-ray.
