'Boruto' Proves Its Team 7 Has The Best Teamwork

The preview for Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 41 teased a big battle between Team 7 and some dangerous shinobi mercenaries, and while they were formidable, Team 7 proved to have great enough teamwork to win the day in the end.

After Konohamaru is captured by one of the mercenaries, Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki find themselves face to face with with a shinobi themselves.

But needing to guard the village head, the three had to formulate a good plan in order to take down their strong opponent. After hearing the village head talk about how she's sorry she failed because she failed to get help from others, this inspired Boruto to follow Sarada's plan of attack.

While Sarada hangs back and scans the enemy's movements with her sharigan, Boruto and Mitsuki draw his attention to them. After a few moments, Sarada figures out that the enemy is not guarding against some of their attacks because of his confidence.

To create an opening, Boruto and Mitsuki use their wind jutsu to launch Sarada straight at the enemy. He strikes at her head, but she is able to see it and dodge the attack mid-air. Catching the enemy off guard, she's able to deliver a super strong punch (much like her mother, Sakura) and completely KOs the enemy.

The three figure out the kind of teamwork they'll need to succeed as each one of them has a strength the other two members don't. Boruto has a creative use for jutsus, Sarada has the eyes to read the opponent, and Mitsuki has the speed to make it all happen.

The next major arc of the series will set up the Chuunin Exams, which was a plot first covered in Boruto: Naruto the Movie and later on in the manga run of the series. Although the new Team 7 finds themselves in their first deadly mission, it will soon lead to even more treacherous predicaments.

The core of the arc follows Boruto as he goes through a dilemma during the Chuunin Exams when he's caught cheating, and his father is kidnapped by a new set of ninja baddies from the Kaguya clan. This new arc has been hotly anticipated, but it has raised many questionsfor fans of the series as Boruto has proven to have already learned the same kind of lessons he learns in the movie and the manga run.

For those unfamiliar with Boruto's predecessor Naruto, it has quite a storied history. Originally created by Masashi Kishimoto, the series ran in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump for 700 chapters. The story follows Naruto, a young ninja with a sealed demon within him that wishes to become the leader of his home village. The sequel, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is set several years after the events of the original Naruto story and featuring the children of many of its key characters such as Naruto and Hinata.
