Cuddly Kylo Ren Comes to Build-A-Bear from Star Wars: The Force Awakens

The latest addition to Build-A-Bear Workshop's extensive Star Wars collection is none other than the conflicted villain of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Kylo Ren. The new plush features Kylo Ren's ribbed sleeves, his elaborate helmet, and hooded cloak - all on a cuddly teddy bear. With Ren (and actor Adam Driver)'s popularity with the ladies, this one is sure to be a big seller.

The plush is available for pre-sale now, and launches in North American and UK stores next month. Kylo Ren Bear runs $35, but his signature tri-bladed lightsaber will run you $12 extra. The price of the accessory is due to the fact that it lights up and runs with the lightsaber noise, so it's a deluxe accessory. You can also add John Williams' classic Star Wars theme song to your Kylo Ren (playable in his paw). Pre-ordering the Kylo Ren Bear gets you a $5 discount coupon for your next Build-a-Bear purchase as well.

Kylo Ren adds to the ever-expanding collection that this year alone has added new plushes for Boba Fett, Yoda, and Wicket the Ewok, but is the first specifically from the new trilogy of movies that launched with The Force Awakens and continues in 2017 with Star Wars: Episode VIII.

Clothing and accessories in the Star Wars line at Build-a-Bear include lightsabers, blasters, various sounds like Wookiee roars and Artoo beeps, hoodies and robes. Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Darth Vader are also all currently available - so you can get them all, plus Kylo Ren, and have a nice little family reunion. Just keep Kylo Ren's accessory away from your Han Solo bear (too soon?).
