The cast of Power Rangers HyperForce is already quite beloved, but it could have featured another fan favorite Ranger.
That Ranger would be Power Rangers Megaforce star Ciara Hanna, who played Gia the Yellow Ranger. In an interview with That Hashtag Show Hanna revealed that she was originally going to be a part of the interactive tabletop show Power Rangers HyperForce, but she is holding the door open to be on at some point down the line.
“I was supposed to do that (Power Rangers Hyperforce) but I couldn’t, Hanna said. "I was supposed to be a Ranger but I was filming in Kentucky so I had to deny it, but I’m hoping to be a guest star on it because it’s a really amazing project I think.”
If Hanna had been part of the cast she would have played the role of the Black Ranger. After the schedule issue though that part was taken over by Cristina Vee, who has delighted fans with her take on Vesper Vasquez. It looks like it worked out on all fronts, but hopefully, fans will get to see Vesper and Hanna interacting in a future episode.
Thus far HyperForce has brought in Ranger alumni like Erin Cahill (Jen Scotts/Time Force Pink), Karan Ashley (Aisha Campbell/Mighty Morphin Yellow), and Mike Ginn (Gem/RPM Gold). Tonight's episode will feature another guest form the show's history in Jason David Frank, who played the role of the Green and White Rangers during the Mighty Morphin era, as well as took part in Zeo, Turbo, and Dino Thunder.
As for Hanna, she starred in 2013's Megaforce and 2014's Super Megaforce, which featured the 20th-anniversary reunion episode Legendary Battle. There's reason to believe she will also be a part of next year's 25th-anniversary reunion episode, and hopefully, that comes to fruition.
