Early this month, following the release of its Super Bowl trailer, Ghost in the Shell generated some serious buzz. According to comScore's PreAct service, the upcoming live-action adaptation of the Japanese cyberpunk manga of the same name generated 30,000 new conversations that week. Whereas in that same time frame, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy only generated 24,000 new conversations — good enough for second-best.
Since interest in Ghost in the Shell is so high, I know you're going to want to take a look at these eight motion-posters that were released by Paramount today. They feature new looks at Scarlett Johansson's Major and seven members of her Section 9 task force: Pilou Asbaek's Batou, Takeshi Kitano's Aramaki, Lasarus Ratuere's Ishikawa, Tawanda Manyimo's Borma, Yutaka Izumihara's Saito, Danusia Samal's Ladriya, and Chin Han's Togusa.
