The anime section of the internet exploded last week as the first visual and cast from the upcoming Fairy Tail Dragon Cry movie was revealed.
This highly anticipated feature film seems to be the talk of the town as fans are excited for a new Fairy Tail story. Following this reveal the official website released the first teaser for the film. The teaser can be seen below.
Along with with the audience's first look at the movie with the new teaser, the company also released four new character designs from the movie as well.
Hiro Mashima, Fairy Tail's creator also confirmed that he is working on the final arc of the manga series as well. The manga has been running since 2016, and has been a huge hit, selling more than 60 million units worldwide.
For those not familiar with the Fairy Tail series, you need to catch up before the new movie. The series follows a guild of young, powerful wizards. The series is set in a fictional Earth, a place where wizards and magic rule. A boy named Natsu teams up with an unlikely friend Lucy Heartfilia with dreams of becoming a powerful wizard. To date, there are more than 250 episodes of the acclaimed series.
Fairy Tail Dragon Cry is set to release May 6, 2017.
