Yuri On Ice Releases New Animated Skating Routine

Yuri!!! On Ice took the world of anime out of nowhere and quickly rose to the top, becoming one of the most popular series of last year. Winning all sorts of awards and fan polls, the show is a must watch. The franchise has been slowly releasing the show with home video volumes with the sixth and final one releasing on May 26th. The official website for Yuri!!! On Ice announced on Monday that there will be some special exclusives in the final bundle.

The website posted a promotional video (seen above) and announced that the upcoming disc volume will include "the brand-new exhibition video Yuri Plisetsky GPF in Barcelona EX 'Welcome to The Madness'". The new video features the "Welcome to The Madness" track from the Oh!Suketora!!! Yuri!!! on Ice Original Skate Song Collection album.

It will also include a Yuri!!! on Ice Coloring Book and exclusive booklet. There will also be bonus extras, such as a dialogue recording session video of Stéphane Lambiel's for the finale, audio commentaries for the finale, and a figure skating choreography video by choreographer Kenji Miyamoto.

Not only did the site release information about the final bundle, but it also released a visual for the new upcoming Yuri!!! on Stage event on April 29. This upcoming event will offer exclusive goods such as pamphlets, Makkachin-shaped plate light stick, Makkachin fluffy hoodie jacket, the Blu-ray/DVD volumes, and other goods.

If you are unfamiliar with Yuri!!! on Ice, you should definitely go and watch the first season. It is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll, and the plot is described below:

"Yuri Katsuki carried the hope of all Japan on his shoulders in the Figure Skating Grand Prix, but suffered a crushing defeat in the finals. He returned to his hometown in Kyushu and hid away in his family's home, half wanting to continue skating and half wanting to retire. That was when the five-time consecutive world champion, Viktor Nikiforov, suddenly showed up with his teammate, Yuri Plisetsky, a young skater starting to surpass his seniors. And so the two Yuris and the Russian champion Viktor set out to compete in a Grand Prix like none the world has ever seen!"
