No Game, No Life Movie Releases New Key Visual

The hype train continues for the upcoming No Game No Life Movie as a new visual for the film has been released (seen below). This follows the first trailer and staff description that was announced at the end of March. The film is set to release on July 15 of this year and fans are excited about what they see so far.

According to the films official website, it is going to feature the same main characters from the television series that it is based off of, and much of the staff will be the same. No Game No Life Zero's cast includes:

• Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Riku, the young leader of a human enclave
• Ai Kayano as Shuvi, a mechanized girl who meets Riku
• Yōko Hikasa as Corone Dora, a girl from Riku's enclave and the self-proclaimed sister-in-law of Riku
• Yukari Tamura as Jibril, a girl of the Flügel race
• Yuka Iguchi as Nonna Zell, a girl from Riku's enclave
• Mamiko Noto as Shinku Nilvalen, the head of the noble Elf family Nilvalen
• Miyuki Sawashiro as Izuna Hatsuse
• Rie Kugimiya as Teto

The director from the original anime series, Atsuko Ishizuka, will be returning to direct the film at Madhouse. The script will be written by Jukki Hanada, and character design by Satoshi Tasaki. Concept art is done by Kazuhiro Hocchi, with Eiji Iwase as the art director, and Tsukasa Ohira will be in charge of the background art. Yoshiaki Fujisawa is going to be composing the beautiful music.

No Game, No Life started as a Light novel series in 2012 by Yuu Kamiya. It was then adapted for television and the anime premiered in 2014.

If you are unfamiliar with the No Game, No Life franchise, American anime distributor Crunchyroll describes the series as the following:

They are both NEETs and Hikikomoris… but on the internet, the genius gamer siblings Sora and Shiro are known as the undefeatable "__" (blank). Sora and Shiro's talents and skills are so abnormally good they are considered as urban legend. One day a young boy Teto appears before them, claiming to be "One's Lord".
