A Korean blogger named Glayer has made a short tribute to Overwatch's D.Va fanbase, which he has based on the opening for the popular anime Himouto! Umara-chan. Originally Glayer released the teaser for this back in late 2016 and it has taken him almost one year to finish his work. Both the tribute and the original Himouto! Umara-chan openings are roughly the same length, which is about 1:30 minutes.

D.Va is a fictional hero who appears in the 2016 video game Overwatch made by Blizzard Entertainment. For those who are unfamiliar with Overwatch, the game is a first-person shooter, as well as a team-based game. Overwatch is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and on Microsoft Windows. The game's opening beta alone attracted over 10 million gamers, with it now being one of the most talked about video game franchises on the market right now.

Meanwhile, Himouto! Umaru-chan is a popular manga series, which is written by Sankaku Head and published in Weekly Young Jump. The manga first began in 2013and has since inspired an animated television series and a video game. The video game was released in 2015, with it only being available on PlayStation's hand console the PlayStation Vita. While as for the anime, it has been going strong since its release in 2015 as well.

Glayer is clearly a fan of both franchises and so he has combined the two together, making something that works quite well together. The animation looked fantastic, with it looking a little too much like the original Himouto! Umaru-chan opening for comfort. Since the video's release, both Himouto! Umaru-chan and Overwatch fans have praised the opening video, with many of them saying that they would watch Glayer's animated fusion of Himouto! Umaru-chan and Overwatch if it was a real animated series.
