Warning! Spoilers for Episode 116 of Dragon Ball Super below!

Dragon Ball Super fans have been gifted with one of the best fights in the "Universal Survival" and overall series to date as Goku's strenuous battle with the newly fused Kale and Caulifla came to an end.

Kefla, the Potara fusion of Kale and Caulifla, was seemingly impossible for Goku to beat. Goku, who has used his natural fighting talents to make it this far in the Tournament of Power, was now up against two other Saiyans who not only shared his natural talents but grew stronger as they fought as well.

However, thanks to the long-awaited return of Goku's Ultra Instinct form, Kefla was ultimately eliminated from the Tournament of Power. The final moments of their battle was a spectacle to behold as Goku had better control over Ultra Instinct, which meant Kefla could not land a proper hit on him. After effortlessly dodging a number of her fierce punches, Goku launched a counter-attack. However, Goku could not quite focus his attack strength enough to defeat Kefla in this way.

Kefla used this opening to focus on gathering her Ki and reached Super Saiyan 2 in order to match the strength of Goku's Ultra Instinct. Their combined Ki rocked the entire tournament, and even getting the attention of Jiren who's been meditating up to this point.

After launching a hail of Ki blasts, hoping to catch Goku off-guard as he leapt into the air, Kefla was defeated by Goku's most impressive Kamehameha Wave in the series yet. Due to her hubris - something that effects all Saiyans in the series - Kefla chose to focus on attacking Goku blindly rather than attempt to defend from his incoming attack. It might have even been a result of Goku's weaker attacks leading Kefla to believe Goku's Kamehameha would be weaker as well.

Kefla's defeat meant Universe 6 not only lost one, but two competitors in the Tournament of Power. All hope of their survival now rests on the shoulders of the two remaining Namekian warriors, Pirina and Saonel. Universe 6 might be in trouble as the two Namekians not only have Piccolo and Gohan to deal with, but the strongest fighters of the other universes as well.

What do you think of Universe 6's chances now that its strongest warriors are eliminated? Talk to me @Valdezology.
