Mob Psycho 100 fans have been through a rough 2017 as the series had come to an end, and the anime series has shown no signs of a possible second season, but 2018 is setting up to be a better year for the series.

One of the biggest things fans could look forward to is the Mob Psycho 100 stage play, which has just launched a teaser trailer.

Directed by Keita Kawajiri, the Mob Psycho 100 stage play will run in the Galaxy Theater in Tokyo from January 6 to January 14. It features pretty close representations of the series in real life as well as starring Mob's voice actor from the anime series, Setsuo Ito, as the lead once again.

Other confirmed cast members include Ryōma Baba as Arataka Reigen, Takuya Kawaharada as Teruki Hanazawa, Yūta Hoshino as Hikaru Tokugawa, Naoya Gōmoto as Musashi Gōda, Miyu Suenaga as Ichi Mezato, Marina Tanoue as Tome Kurata, Gaku Matsumoto as Ritsu Kageyama, Yuya Kido as Tenga Onigawara, and Takeshi Nadagi as Dimple.

ONE's original webcomic series may have come to an end, but the series has teased a major update announcement for 2018. The subject of the announcement is still unknown, but fans are happy to speculate. There are other adaptations of the series still in the works such as a live-action television series next year, and a special OVA which will focus on Reigen Arataka.

If you are not familiar with Mob Psycho 100, then you can still catch up on the supernatural series. The story was crafted by One, a webcomic artist best-known for creating One Punch Man. The comic started in April 2012, and Bones adapted part of its into an anime series in July 2016.

Mob Psycho 100 tells the story of Seigeo Kageyama, an eighth grader with Esper ability. The psychic tries his best to not stand out, but his powers often rope him into increasingly dangerous situations. Kageyama's powers grow more powerful as the years pass, so he buckles down his emotions to keep a lid on his powers. However, as more threats continue to pursue Kageyama, the boy learns how difficult it is to keep his emotions under lock - but the fate of the world depends on him keeping a straight face.
