Butch Hartman, series creator of many popular shows like The Fairly Oddparents and Danny Phantom, often draws up some of the most famous anime icons in his trademark style.

He also tends to go the extra mile and draws them up as part of a crossover with other series such as his own. This time, he's combined two series you would never expect to see in the same place, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and The Powerpuff Girls.

He uploaded a set of pieces to Twitter that show both his love of anime, and his knowledge of its culture on the Internet. It first started with a piece of his character Danny Phantom fighting Mojo Jojo from The Powerpuff Girls. And while that piece was fun enough as its own, he later responded with an earlier sketch he did on his character Jorgen with Jotaro from the Stardust Crusaders arc of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure with the caption, "Is this a JoJo reference?"

"Is this a JoJo reference?" is a popular meme online with JoJo fans, and Hartman is well aware of the connection fans would make with it and Mojo Jojo. He later followed that up with a portrait that combined both series as Mojo Jojo and Jotaro finally share the same artwork.

Butch Hartman has previously paid tribute to anime series like Hunter X Hunter, Cowboy Bebop, Attack on Titan, One Punch Man, Naruto, and Dragon Ball. Hartman's appreciation for the medium has even gone as far as creating a Dragon Ball Z like animation of his series, The Fairly OddParents.

For those unfamiliar with JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, the series was originally created by Hirohiko Araki. It follows the story of the Joestar family, who are each destined to take down various supernatural enemies. The series has been split up into eight parts, with each part following a different generation of the Joestar family. The series was first published in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump in 1987, and is currently the second longest running series in the magazine with over 121 volumes.

The series has sold over 100 million copies and is the best-selling manga series in history and has been licensed for an English language release by Viz Media. The series has spawned multiple anime, video games, toys, and even jewelry. The series currently has an anime adaptation that began in 2012 and has run for over 100 episodes and spans the first four major arcs of the series.
