BTS cannot be stopped when it comes to Youtube. The rising k-pop group dominated the site with its insane views in 2017, and BTS rolled that success on into 2018. After all, the band just hit 100 million views on its 12th music video thanks to "MIC Drop".

If you head over to Youtube, you will find that "MIC Drop" hit the 100 million view mark on January 2. The music video was released at the end of November 2017, and its remixed track got fans across the world buzzing. Superstar DJ Steve Aoki did the remixed single, and he stars in the music video briefly along with BTS' seven members.

Obviously, this is not the first music video of BTS' to reach this milestone. The band has 12 videos which have passed the 100 million views mark. "DNA" was the last video to cross the threshold in 2017 while other songs like "Dope," "Save Me," "Not Today," "Spring Day," "Fire," "Blood, Sweat & Tears," "Boy In Luv," "Danger," "I Need U," and "War of Hormone" have also broken the record.

Sadly, "MIC Drop" did not beat one of BTS' own records when it came to views. Fans had hoped the new video would beat "DNA" to become the fastest video of any k-pop group to reach 100 million views. The previous track reached the mark in just 24 days, but "MIC Drop" took a bit longer than that.

"MIC Drop" has become one of BTS' biggest music videos now, and the accomplishment is not a surprising one. When the single dropped in 2017, it became the highest-charting song of any k-pop group to enter the Billboard Hot 100. "MIC Drop" debut at number 28 during the week of December 16, and the track was recently performed by BTS on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest.
