New ‘Dragon Ball Super’ Ending May Reveal Super Saiyan Blue 2

If you did not stick around for Dragon Ball Super's brand-new ending this weekend, you will want check out the theme ASAP. Last night, the anime unveiled its latest outro after breaking its holiday hiatus, and fans are convinced its final shot reveals a new level of Super Saiyan Blue.

As you can see below, the final moments of Dragon Ball Super's new ending shows off Goku and Vegeta. The pair can be seen standing back to back as an array of fighters stand in the background. To the right, Goku is seen in his Ultra Instinct form, but it is Vegeta who has got fans buzzing.

If you look closely, you can see there is something off with Vegeta's look. The hero is in his Super Saiyan Blue form, but the transformation looks more defined than ever before. His hair looks similar to the style used in Super Saiyan 2 and is even given noticeably darker shading. Vegeta's eyes are also shaded differently and look like a blue version of Goku's silver irises.

Fans were quick to point out Vegeta's different look, and plenty are speculating the artwork was not done by mistake. In fact, netizens are already making bets on whether it means Vegeta will unlock a new level of Super Saiyan Blue. The manga did already bring up the idea as the 'completed' version of SSB was introduced some time ago.

In the manga, Toyotaro saw Goku master the new level of Super Saiyan Blue when he fought Fused Zamasu. The form allowed the Saiyan to fight equally with the fusion, but Goku's SSB time limit was very short. Later on, Vegeta was able to unlock the power when he sparred with Beerus, but the God of Destruction was able to knock Vegeta out of his newfound power-up with ease.

So far, Dragon Ball Super has yet to use the completed Super Saiyan Blue form in the anime, but it could be on its way. Vegeta did tell Jiren he would find his own way of defeating him, and Goku hasn't claimed this SSB power-up yet. If Vegeta can find a way to level up the transformation, then he will have one unique tool to help bring the Pride Trooper down.
