If you are in dire need of more Hayao Miyazaki, then your patience will be rewarded soon. The folks at Studio Ghibli just confirmed when the director's next project will drop, and it is sooner than you might expect.

Over on Twitter, the page for the Ghibli Museum announced Miyazaki's new short film will debut on March 21 (via CrunchyRoll). The movie, which is called Boro the Caterpillar, will screen exclusively in Japan at the heralded museum.

According to the studio, Miyazaki finished Boro the Caterpillar as expected, and it is just under fifteen minutes long. The short is the 10th one the Ghibli Museum has produced since its opening, and fans are eager to visit the theater for a first-look at Miyzaki's comeback.

A synopsis for Boro the Caterpillar was also released, and you can read it below:

"Just before dawn, Boro the Caterpillar hatched from an egg among patches of scrub grass. Looking around for the first time, he noticed the brilliance of the morning sun and a deliciousness in the air. Boro lowered himself down to the ground from the borogiku (groundsel), and stepped out into theworld of caterpillars and caterpillars' enemies."

Miyazaki began work on Boro the Caterpillar back in 2015 after he finished his last feature film, The Wind Rises. Studio Ghibli producer Toshio Suzuki told fans previously the film was eyeing a 2017 debut, but that schedule changed when Miyazaki officially left retirement to work on a new feature film.

The director's next work is a highly anticipated one though few details about it is known. Last fall, reports confirmed Miyazaki was making a movie titled How Do You Live? The project is based on a famous children's story by Yoshino Genzaburo, and Studio Ghibli expects it will take 3-4 years to finish the movie.

How Do You Live? focuses on a middle school boy named Honda Junichi. The student lives a quiet life and comes to learn more about adolescence as he exchanges letters with his uncle. The pair grow and learn from one another as Honda grows bored of his pristine life. However, the uncle's wise words manage to challenge Honda into doing more with his life than what has come to be expected.
