Ever since DC Comics announced last month that Rob Liefeld would take on an expanded role at the publisher, plotting three new titles and drawing one of them following on the heels of cancelling his Hawk & Dove series, the identities of his collaborators on the books have been shrouded in mystery. Today, DC announced all of them at the same time, as well as releasing covers by Liefeld of all three titles. The Savage Hawkman #9 will ship in May with Mark Poulton (who is also relaunching the Liefeld-created Avengelyne at Image this month) sharing writing chores with Liefeld. Joe Bennett, one of the principal artists on DC's groundbreaking 52 event and outgoing Deathstroke artist, will take over art on the title. Current series artist Scott Clark will remain on Grifter, DC's reimagining of the former WildC.A.T.S. standout, with Liefeld and Frank Tieri joining him on scripts. Tieri co-wrote Batman and the Outsiders and JSA Classified prior to the New 52 relaunch Liefeld himself will take control of both writing and drawing Deathstroke with #9, replacing outgoing creators Bennett and writer Kyle Higgins. His first arc will see Lobo make his first appearance in the New 52 and face off against Slade Wilson. [gallery link="file" orderby="title"]
