It's called the Lobo Paramilitary Christmas Special, but every Easter I like to trot this gem out and watch it. A totally unofficial--but well-made and hilarious--fan film adapting the holiday-themed one-shot from DC Comics, the Paramilitary Christmas Special revolves around Lobo--DC's best-loved bounty hunter back in the '90s--being contracted by the Easter Bunny to assassinate Santa Claus, with the idea being that the holiday pecking order would then allow the Bunny to ascend to the title of most-beloved holiday icon. Santa's not cool with that, though, and hilarity ensues. The short is based on the one-shot by Keith Giffen, Alan Grant and Simon Bisley. Lobo will appear for the first time since DC's September relaunch in Deathstroke #9, written and drawn by Rob Liefeld.
