Die Hard Marathon Coming To Theaters

A Good Day To Die Hard is set to be released in theaters on Thursday, February 14, 2013. However, Twentieth Century Fox is holding a Die Hard marathon of the four previous Die Hard films on Wednesday, February 13, 2012. Both The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises held marathons of previous movies to kick off their releases this past summer, which proved to be very popular with fans. The Die Hard marathon will include Die Hard (1988), Die Hard 2: Die Harder (1990), Die Hard with a Vengeance (1995) and Live Free or Die Hard (2007). The promotional poster for the marathon notes that fans will get to see the first four movies and then the premiere of A Good Day To Die Hard for one low price. The Die Hard marathon will take place at participating theaters, but which theater chains will be participating has not been revealed. Fox also released this synopsis for A Good Day To Die Hard: "Since the first Die Hard in 1988, John McClane has found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time, with the skills and attitude to always be the last man standing, making him enemy #1 for terrorists the world over. Now, McClane faces his greatest challenge ever, this time on an international stage, when his estranged son Jack is caught up in the daring prison escape of a rogue Russian leader, and father and son McClane must work together to keep each other alive and keep the world safe for democracy."
