Last Week, Comicbook.com reported on a CES announcement from Chinese electronics company TCL that Tony Stark's TV of choice would be their HD China Star 3D TV. Well, it turns out that Tony Stark doesn't just like Chinese technology when it comes to televisions, as TCL has announced their partnership with Iron Man 3 involved multiple products. Iron Man 3 will feature not only  the 3D LCD TV from TCL but also cloud technology and mobile handsets from the company. In addition to brand placement in the movie, TCL will also do joint promotions with Iron Man 3 and has authorized usage of Iron Man 3 creative elements. Niranjan Gidwani, Deputy CEO, Eros Group, authorized distributors for TCL, said, "The Iron Man franchise is a phenomenon which has taken the world by storm in the past few years. TCL has done the same in the UAE since its launch in 2009 and we are proud and excited to be part of this upcoming event. Eros Group has the experience in this area given the TCL-Transformers 2 tie-up on 2010 which we unveiled in the UAE. We are creating a marketing blitz for the movie premiere and the tie-up and are looking forward to an exciting spring season." Of course, Iron Man 3 is not TCL's first joint promotion deal with a Hollywood movie. TCL has also had agreements with Transformers 3, The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises and Cloud Atlas. Mr. Zhao Zhongyao, Chief Executive Officer of TCL Multimedia said, "TCL has attached great importance to the collaboration with Hollywood. Through this cross-industry collaboration, we are looking at introducing our latest smart products to consumers from around the world via a wide range of different brand promotion activities associated with the Iron Man 3 theme, bringing more wonderful user experiences to consumers."
