Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has just dropped a bombshell and confirmed the second movie that will be part of Marvel Studios Phase Three films. After Avengers 2, it was already known that Ant-Man would be the first movie of Phase Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now, a Doctor Strange movie has been officially revealed to also be part of Phase Three. In an interview with MTV about Phase Three movies, Kevin Feige said, "Doctor Strange, which I've been talking about for years, is definitely one of them. He's a great, original character, and he checks the box off this criteria that I have: he's totally different from anything else we have, just like Guardians of the Galaxy. He's totally different from anything we've done before, as is Ant-Man, which keeps us excited." While Kevin Feige did not provide any more specifics as to when a Doctor Strange movie would be released, Ant-Man has a November 6, 2015 release date. Could it be that Doctor Strange will be scheduled for 2016? Or could Marvel Studios actually try to slip it in before Ant-Man? There have been numerous rumors about a Doctor Strange appearance in Thor 2, which if true could mean a Doctor Strange movie sooner rather than later.
