Peter Dinklage Cast In X-Men: Days Of Future Past

X-Men: Days Of Future Past director Bryan Singer has been sharing lots of casting news via Twitter. Most of the casting news has involved previous actors and actresses in the X-Men franchise. However, Bryan Singer dropped his first real bombshell casting news just a couple minutes ago. Singer tweeted, "Officially like to welcome #PeterDinklage from #GameOfThrones to #XMEN #DaysofFuturePast Very very excited!" Of course, Peter Dinklage is best known for his role as Tyrion Lannister in the HBO series Game of Thrones. Dinklage won an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role on Game of Thrones. It's unclear exactly what character Peter Dinklage will be playing. The obvious speculation would lean toward Puck, who is best known as a member of the Canadian super team Alpha Flight. Puck has also been known to hangout with Wolverine. It's also possible that Dinklage could be playing a brand new character or a villain. X-Men Days of Future Past is set to be released in movie theaters on July 18, 2014.
