Iron Man 3: Five Massive Spoilers

With the release date of Iron Man 3 quickly approaching, more and more spoilers have begun leaking out about the movie. Surprisingly, many of the spoilers have come from Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige basically describing several scenes in detail to the press. We've compiled a list of five massive Iron Man 3 spoilers. Some are confirmed, while others are still rumors. 5. Pepper Potts Wears Armor – One of the biggest early rumors we reported on was whether Pepper Potts would get the chance to try on some armor in Iron Man 3. Some of the early images of Lego toys showed a figure which looked a lot like Pepper Potts in armor.  And when Marvel Studios showed around 15 minutes of early footage to the press, the scene previewed confirmed that Pepper Potts does indeed wear armor in Iron Man 3. However, it appears to be just some of Tony Stark's armor used to keep her safe after The Mandarin's attack, so it remains to be seen if we will ever get to see Pepper Potts in Rescue armor, like she has worn in the comic books. 4. Iron Man Joins The Guardians Of The Galaxy – Last year, Comicbook.com reported that we had heard that Iron Man 3 would tie into Guardians of the Galaxy, but Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn denied the rumor. However, since that time, it's been revealed that Deep Space Suit armor will be part of Iron Man 3, and most can't think of any other reason as to why Tony Stark would need Deep Space Suit armor other than to fly off into space to join the Guardians of the Galaxy. While this rumor is still unconfirmed, it's certainly starting to sound feasible that some type of connection will be made between Tony Stark and the Guardians of the Galaxy in the after the credits scene. 3. Tony Stark Gets A Kid Sidekick – Batman has Robin, Captain America has Bucky, and now Iron Man has Harley. In some of the preview scenes for Iron Man 3, a kid is shown standing with Tony Stark near a memorial. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige recently confirmed that kid is a child actor named Ty Simpkins. 2. Stephanie Szostak Is Ellen Brandt – While early rumors had Stephanie Szostak's character pegged as Janet Van Dyne, who becomes The Wasp, it turns out that doesn't look to be the case. Even though no one at Marvel Studios has spoken officially in regard to Szotak's role, the Marvel website revealed that she was playing a character names Brandt. It just so happens that there is a character in the Marvel Comics Universe named Ellen Brandt, who would fit perfectly into the Iron Man 3 storyline. 1. Happy Hogan Dies - In one of the Iron Man 3 trailers, Happy Hogan appears to badly injured and near death. Kevin Feige also let it slip out that Jon Favreau, who plays Happy Hogan, had a lot of scenes early in the movie. If all Happy Hogan's scenes are near the beginning of the movie, it kind of suggests that he might not be around by the end of the movie. While it's been confirmed that Happy Hogan will be injured, it's still unconfirmed if the injuries will lead to death.
