Iron Man 3 International Spot Shows Pepper Potts In Armor

While this week might be The Wolverine week as we're getting our fist look at footage from this summer's most secretive superhero movie, there is still plenty of new Iron Man 3 material being released as well. With Iron Man 3 opening internationally in several other countries before it opens in the United States, there has been some rather revealing international footage to surface. The latest Iron Man 3 international TV spot actually reveals something that was for a a long time a closely guarded secret in Iron Man 3. Many had speculated early on that Pepper Potts might get a turn at wearing armor in Iron Man 3, and now with Iron Man 3 toys hitting store shelves and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige sharing extensive scene descriptions it's not speculation any more. Now, instead of just hearing about Pepper Potts in armor, this latest international trailer actually shows Pepper Potts in the armor. As previously revealed by the toys and studio execs, Pepper Potts' armor wearing moment comes during The Mandarin's attack on Tony Stark's Malibu mansion. Tony Stark sends his armor to assemble around Pepper Potts to keep her safe during the attack. Pepper Potts then returns the favor by saving Tony Stark. Iron Man 3 is set to open in movie theaters in the United States on May 3, 2013.
