The Walking Dead: Eighteen Photos Of Merle Dixon

While most of the visitors to this site probably watched The Walking Dead live last night, we did want to include the obligatory spoiler warning. If you've been online today and are connected to anyone at all through social media, then you probably already know what happened on last night's Walking Dead. If you don't want to know, then stop reading now, but if you're looking for some detailed photos of one of the most shocking scenes in Walking Dead history, then we've got them below. "This Sorrowful Life" will likely go down as one of the greatest Walking Dead episodes in the history of the show. When Daryl and his brother Merle finally re-united a couple of episodes ago, everyone suspected that the story wouldn't end happily. While Merle hasn't always been the nicest of guys on The Walking Dead, he wound up going out a hero. Instead of turning Michonne over to The Governor as instructed by Rick, Merle set Michonne free and went to take on The Governor all by himself. Merle put up a valiant fight, taking out several members of The Governor's army, but ultimately The Governor himself put a bullet in Merle's chest. When Daryl arrived, it was too late and Merle had already turned. While zombie Merle only showed up briefly at the end of last night's Walking Dead, AMC has released a ton of photos that show the confrontation between zombie Merle and his brother Daryl in detail. We've included the photos below, which start out with zombie Merle feasting on Ben. When zombie Merle notices Daryl, he ambles toward him to attack. Daryl tries to initially push Merle away, before finally putting his brother out of his zombie misery.
