Lee Pace To Play Villain In Guardians Of The Galaxy

According to TheWrap, Lee Pace is currently in final negotiations to play a villain role in Guardians of the Galaxy. Lee Pace is best known for playing the lead role of Ned in the TV series Pushing Daisies. Lee Pace has also appeared in numerous movies, including The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. It's unknown exactly what villain character Lee Pace will be playing. It's possible that the Guardians of the Galaxy might be facing off against multiple villains, but TheWrap sort of makes it sound like Pace will be playing the lead villain. The only Guardians of the Galaxy cast member that has been confirmed by director James Gunn is Chris Pratt, but Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Michael Rooker, and Ophelia Lovibond are also rumored to have roles. Guardians of the Galaxy is scheduled to be released in theaters in the United States on August 1, 2014.
