Superior Spider-Man Swings into "Mighty" Pages

Another character has been officially announced for Marvel's team of heroes who will be protecting the Earth during the events of Jonathan Hickman's "Infinity". Joining Luke Cage on the team is none other than Spider-Man, the Superior Spider-Man to be exact. Tom Breevort, Marvel's Excecutive Editor, commented on the news by saying that this Spider-Man is not the typical hero that many are used to "Doctor Octopus has commandeered his body and is using it to carry out his own particular interpretation, his brand of what begin a hero is. During the course of the Infinity catastrophe, he is on Earth in the center of New York. it's his city. He's got it rigged with spider-cameras, spider-bots and spider-minions and there's no way anybody's going to be attacking his place without his intervention."
