While the rumors would make sense from the perspective of that both films were made by Warner Bros., we didn't have any proof to support the rumor. That is until now. The British Board Of Film Classification has just officially classified a new trailer for The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug. The trailer is classified as having an approved running time of two minutes and one second. Usually, film trailers get classified about a week or so before they are released, so the timing is exactly right for the trailer to premiere with Man Of Steel, which is scheduled to be released in both the UK and the United States on June 14, 2013. The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on December 13, 2013.
