has become the fourth film this year to surpass $200 million in 2014, bringing in $12 million at the box office this weekend. Iron Man 3, Oz the Great and Powerful and Fast and Furious 6 have already hit the number, although it's distinctly possible that Star Trek Into Darkness could still surpass one or more of those, depending on the length of their theatrical runs. At present, Iron Man 3 is pretty safe unless Man of Steel has a massive haul. Currently, Iron Man 3 is sitting at $394 million - meaning that between now and next week when Man of Steel takes the theaters on Friday, that film should become the first $400 million comic of the year.
