Gail Simone Writing Lois Lane, "Some Superman" in Secret Project

Fan-favorite Batgirl writer Gail Simone tweeted yesterday that she's working on a new project that features Lois Lane and Superman. "Oh, well, that's enough Superman daydreaming for right now. (Goes back to writing Lois Lane scene for SECRET PROJECT)," the writer tweeted. Earlier in the day, she had said, "Fortunately, I get to write SOME Superman in SECRET PROJECT." Leaving aside how hilarious it would be if Simone's new book were actually called Secret Project and she was quietly spoiling it every time she tweeted, it's probably worth considering that Lois herself supported a title for a long time in the Silver Age, and that with the Superman line expanding rapidly right now and Man of Steel poised to make $130 million or more this weekend, the time for a standalone Lois story couldn't be better if that were something DC was interested in pursuing.
