Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver Huge Part Of Avengers 2

Director Joss Whedon previously revealed that Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver would be part of Avengers 2, but no one knew exactly how large a role initially they would be playing. There was even some speculation that they might just have cameo roles, merely to establish them as part of the Marvel Studios Cinematic Universe. However, Joss Whedon has now clarified in an interview with CraveOnline that Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver will be a major part of the Avengers sequel. When asked about Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver being in both Fox's X-Men: Days Of Future Past and Avengers 2, Joss Whedon said, "It's a huge part of the movie. I'm really excited about it. And I don't know what they're doing. And I'm determinedly not knowing." Whedon added, "They'll do their thing. I have to do mine." Avengers 2 is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on May 1, 2015.
