Man Of Steel Passes Half A Billion At Worldwide Box Office

In just a little over two weeks, Man Of Steel is halfway to a billion dollars at the worldwide box office. Earlier today, we reported on how this weekend's domestic box office take had elevated Man Of Steel to the number two position for 2013 at the United States box office, but the film is also proving to be an international hit. With this weekend's international box office, Man Of Steel has now grossed $520.4 million worldwide. Man Of Steel currently ranks in the number four position at the worldwide box office for 2013, behind Iron Man 3, Fast & Furious 6, and The Croods. With Man Of Steel continuing to play strongly both in the United States and overseas, it should eventually reach the number two position at the worldwide box office as well. On the all time box office list, Man Of Steel becomes just the 109th film in history to cross half a billion at the worldwide box office.
