The Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons Begs Dwight Howard to Join the Houston Rockets

Forget the fact that Rockets ownership brought in Yao Ming to talk to Dwight Howard via Skype from China when the star free agent met with the team recently about the possibility of jumping ship from the Lakers to join the team--Howard just got an endorsement from Sheldon Cooper. Jim Parsons, star of TV's The Big Bang Theory, took to YouTube today to appeal to Howard to move to Houston. Wearing a Rockets hat, Parsons spent ninety seconds trying to win over the center, saying, "I promise you that no organization, and no fan base, understands and respects the role that an all-time great center like yourself plays and the success of the team the way Houston does and the way the Rockets do." You can check out the video below--and it looks like it worked, as USA Today reported about an hour ago that Howard will be a Rocket next year.
