DC Entertainment's most recent ambitious We Can Be Heroes fundraiser passed its $100,000 goal today with four days to go, shortly after someone bid $25,000 to have Jim Lee paint a DC Comics mural on their wall. This month's round of charity crowdfunding, the proceeds from which will go to feed the hungry in the Horn of Africa, is Superman-centric, with signed movie posters and graphic novels among some of the mid-range items up for bid. Lower tier items include clothing and digital comics, while the upper echelon include Lee's mural (taken, folks, sorry) and dinner with Geoff Johns and Superman: The Movie director Richard Donner. You can see the video to promote the IndieGoGo campaign below. The project's website reports that Timothy Draper anted up for the Jim Lee mural. While Draper's name might not be immediately recognizable to comic book fans, he is [assuming this is the same Timothy Draper, which seems likely] a well-known venture capitalist and the founder of the global venture capital firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson.
