Keep Calm and Call Batman

While Comicbook.com was first to point out several Easter Eggs in Man Of Steel such as LexCorp Tower, Blaze Comics, and Utopia Casino, here's one that we missed. In addition to the Wayne Enterprises satellite, it turns out that there is a second Batman Easter Egg in Man Of Steel. In an interview with Empire Magazine, director Zack Snyder revealed, "When Zod's tearing the building apart with his heat vision, there's a Be Calm And Call Batman sign on the wall there, just really small." Surprisingly, even though numerous photos of various Easter Eggs from Man Of Steel have made their way online, no one seems to have gotten a photo of this particular Batman sign yet. Of course there might be a reason for that. Snyder explained, "You might even have to stop the movie to see it but it's definitely in there. That's a Double Negative Productions [Easter Egg]. D Neg is the visual effects company here in London that worked on all the Dark Knight movies, and they definitely did that. And [when I saw it], I was like, 'That's awesome.'" Unlike the Wayne Enterprises satellite, which just confirms that Bruce Wayne exists in the Man Of Steel universe, this particular Easter Egg would indicate that Bruce Wayne has already become Batman in the Man Of Steel universe. Not to be a nitpicker, but it would also contradict Zack Snyder's earlier suggestions that Superman was the first superhero to emerge in the Man Of Steel universe. Of course, maybe Batman doesn't count, since he technically doesn't have any super powers.
