The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Spoiler: Mystery Villain Confirmed

In the Amazing Spider-Man 2, it's no secret that Jamie Foxx's Electro has been played up as the main villain in the film. It's also been revealed that Paul Giamatti will play Rhino in the film, but it's a little unclear exactly how large or small his role is. Now, another mystery villain has been confirmed for The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Stop reading now if you don't want to be spoiled about which new villain has been confirmed. In an interview with View London, Felicity Jones revealed, "It's all quite shrouded in secrecy, but I'm the Goblin's girlfriend - I'm in a relationship with him, and his accomplice. I'm on the dark side." Considering that it's no secret that Dane DeHann is playing Harry Osborn in Amazing Spider-Man 2, Felicity Jones' comments shouldn't come as a huge shocker. However, there had been considerable question over if Harry Osborn would actually become Green Goblin during the film, and Felicity Jones' comments are the first confirmation that he will. Even though Felicity Jones previously seemed to hint that she might be playing Black Cat, she's now being more secretive in regards to her own role at least. Felicity Jones said, "I can't say actually. It's all in the vaults of Marvel. I love all that secrecy, I think it's great. It builds anticipation, there's too much transparency in everything these days." If Electro, Rhino, Green Goblin, and Black Cat all play villains in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, then will the film suffer from there being too many villains, which was a common complaint leveled at Spider-Man 3.
