Monkeybrain Comics Announces Raft of New Titles For 2014

As they begin the second year of their publishing history, Chris Roberson and Allison Baker's Monkeybrain Comics once again rolled out a raft of new titles coming soon from creators being featured at the show—even as Roberson and Baker aren't there themselves. "We have been overwhelmed by the amount of support we've received from readers and creators alike in our first year of operation, co-publisher Baker said, "and we can't wait to show everyone what we have planned for our second year." More details and creator comments will undoubtedly come out tonight at the San Diego Comic Con International panel, but the news is officially out now of their second wave of new titles, complete with creators (and the return of the fan-favorite Heartbreakers). As they did when they first announced their launch last year, the Monkeybrain folks have made their new titles available at the time of announcement, meaning that you can buy the followin series through ComiXology now: Avery Fatbottom: Renaissance Fair Detective by Jen Vaughn Captain Ultimate by Benjamin Bally, Joey Esposito and Boykoesh Detectobot by Peter Tominoy and Bobby Timony Dropout #1 by Phil Hester and Tyler Walpole Heartbreakers #1 by Anina Bennett and Paul Guinan Each of the series will launch at Monkeybrain's most common price point--$0.99--except for Detectobot, which is free.
