When Comicbook.com talked to Michael Rooker about Guardians Of The Galaxy at FandomFest in July, we couldn't get him to reveal exactly how many pictures he had signed on for with Marvel Studios. However, he did indicate that it was definitely more than just one movie. "None of you business. Nothing is one picture anymore…hundred picture deal, said Rooker. "It was a hundred picture deal [laughing]." At Dragon Con this weekend, Superherohype.com caught up with Rooker, and he once again gave the indication that sequels for Guardians Of The Galaxy were a definite possibility. Rooker said, "When I first got the role of Yondu, [director James] Gunn was like, 'Don't read any of the comics!' but It's beautiful stuff. Whenever you do a film of comic book characters and stuff you don't know how much you can show, you don't know how much is going to be brought out. Nowadays movies are done and they already have two or three others planned out. So stuff you do in this one, you ask 'Why aren't we doing this?' and they say, 'Well be patient!'" Rooker's suggestion that the Guardians Of The Galaxy movie might not follow the comic book series exactly was also something he indicated to Comicbook.com. When we asked about the possibility of his character Yondu losing his hand like he did in the comics, Rooker said, "No, no, that's only in the comic, and different…I don't know…as in The Walking Dead, not everything's the same when you do a project and bring it from a comic or a graphic novel, not everything stays the same. I don't know what's going to happen. Maybe, I'll lose an ear or a toe. No, I'm just teasing with you [laughing]."
