Saoirse Ronan Reportedly Auditioned For Star Wars Episode VII

While it's beginning to look like Disney will never officially announce any Star Wars Episode VII news, the casting rumors continue to flow. According to Latino Review, Saoirse Ronan auditioned for a role in Star Wars Episode VII. They don't have any information on exactly what role she auditioned for, but they do mention that they've heard there will be a female villain part in the movie. Ronan may or may not be up for that role. At one time, Saoirse Ronan was rumored to be the leading candidate to play the Scarlet Witch in Avengers: Age Of Ultron, but she reportedly passed on the role. If the Star Wars rumors are true, then it might explain why she would pass on a key role in the Avengers juggernaut. Also, Latino Review is claiming that Benedict Cumberbatch will actually be in Star Wars Episode VII despite all the denials by him and his reps.
