It looks like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. proved to be the monster-sized hit that ABC was expecting it to be in the ratings. The pilot episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. brought in 11.9 million viewers and scored a 4.6 adults 18-49 rating. The ratings are particular impressive when it is taken into consideration that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was going up against a couple of established, popular shows. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. beat both NBC's The Voice and CBS' NCIS in the 18-49 demographic. As far as how it did in comparison to other new Fall shows, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. had the biggest demo rating for a scripted series thus far in the new Fall season. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs on Tuesday nights at 8 PM ET on ABC.
