Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Too Early To Say If They'll Make the Movies

S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Phil Coulson may have made the jump from Marvel's The Avengers to the small screen on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but will he and his team be around for the Avengers sequel and other big-screen Marvel outings? It's "Too early to say, really. But let's let them do their thing in the show first and foremost," said a rep for Marvel during a liveblog of today's New York Comic Con panel for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. It's not an official comment from Jeph Loeb or Kevin Feige, obviously, but it's an interesting comment, since the most obvious place for them to be would probably be in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which actors have described as basically a S.H.I.E.L.D. movie. Loeb did make a comment later, though, saying, "Wouldn't that be great? The longer we're on the air, the greater that possibility becomes."
