The Walking Dead Spoiler The Governor

During Season 3 of The Walking Dead, many fans were surprised that David Morrissey's character The Governor survived the Season 3 Finale. When it was announced earlier this year that David Morrissey had been cast in a new AMC pilot called Line Of Sight, many took it as a spoiler that The Governor's time on The Walking Dead would soon be coming to and end. However, in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, David Morrissey downplays that him taping a pilot for another series means that The Governor is going to die."I had a little hiatus on The Walking Dead and we filmed that pilot. So I'm waiting to see," said Morrissey. "But I like The Walking Dead. I am part of The Walking Dead. I really hope to make it to season 5 of The Walking Dead. I don't know what's going to happen —  that's an AMC decision, not mine."Morrissy also added, "The Walking Dead is my show and I'm very proud of it and I want to be a part of that. Suffice it to say I am a Walking Dead actor and that is the show that I employed to do, and the show I love." So it sounds like Line Of Sight hasn't been officially picked up as a series yet. Even if Line Of Sight is picked up, it's always possible that Morrissey could film both shows, since it's not like The Governor is likely to join Rick's group. The Governor is a character that could show up occasionally as a re-occurring threat, which would leave Morrissey time to film another series.
