Avengers: Age Of Ultron

Seamus McGarvey, who served as director of photography on Marvel's The Avengers and just completed Warner/Legendary's Godzilla before jumping on board Fifty Shades of Grey, will not serve in the same capacity for Avengers: Age of Ultron. Instead, Kick-Ass and Guardians of the Galaxy cinematographer Ben Davis will join the production. Ben Davis is known for his frequent collaborations with Matthew Vaughn, with whom he worked on Kick-Ass, Stardust and Layer Cake. He also has obviously worked with Kick-Ass star Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who plays Quicksilver in Avengers: Age of Ultron. "I did everything I could to let Joss know how great I thought [Davis] was," Guardians director James Gunn told Comic Book Movie. "And, of course, Joss was able to see first hand what an amazing job Ben was doing on Guardians."
